Remembering Lori Pearson

Lake Arrowhead and the mountain communities remember resident Lori Pearson who passed away Monday, November 2, 2015. Always with a smile on her face and purpose in her heart, Lori was known as the consummate volunteer. A member of Soroptimist International Rim of the World, former president of the Arrowhead Arts Association auxillary, volunteer at Lake Arrowhead Elementary School, Board Member and Volunteer Coordinator of Mountain Meals on Wheels, past Arrowhead Lake Association committee member, volunteer at the Mountain History Museum and the list goes on. While on the Forest Planning Committee of ALA, Lori designed and helped to build the Demonstration Garden at ALA’s Tavern Bay Beach Club, which serves to showcase native and adaptive plants along with sheltering and raising seedlings gathered from local pine cones along the Lake Arrowhead shoreline.

Lori is survived by her son, Brian, her sister, Elaine, and life partner, Jack Cooperman.

A celebration of Lori's life is planned for Sunday, November 22 at the Lake Arrowhead Resort at 1:00 PM.
